  • Abstract:

Efficacy is a major factor in assessing the overall quality of a medicine but it is not readily accessible to those who need to make objective and balanced assessments of drugs, particularly new drugs. The results of clinical trials can be retained by manufacturers and access to data is limited by the cost of publishing peer-reviewed research.
