Graduated in 1989 from the University of Helsinki. Director for Pharmaceutical Affairs at the Association of Finnish Pharmacies since 1996. Prior to present position working in a community pharmacy 1989-1990, at the Social Insurance Institution 1990-1995 as a research officer and at the Nordic Council on Medicines 1995-1996.
