    Background

    The health of Indigenous Australians remains very poor. One of the contributing factors is poor medication compliance within Aboriginal populations. Aboriginal Health Workers have reported frequent inappropriate use of medications due to limited understanding, literacy and information. Pharmacists are well positioned to provide AHWs..
