    Spheroids are small, free flowing, spherical or semispherical solid units, typically

    about 0.5 to 1.5 mm in diameter and intended usually for oral administration. Cashew nut tree gum was isolated from cashew nut tree (Anacardium Occidentale) and was used as release modifier for the preparation of controlled release spheroids of Diclofenac..
