    Background

    PNALD is a well-recognized side effect that develops in approximately 30%–60% of children requiring long-term soybean oil(SO)–based parental nutrition (PN).Fish oil(FO) parenteral emulsions have shown to reverse PNALD in children, however there are very few studies available for adults in current literature.
