    Backgrounds

    Orodispersible dosage forms are attractive for groups of patients that have problems swallowing conventional tablets, such as children. 

    Aims

    The aim of this study was to prepare orodispersible tablets of furosemide, a BCS class IV drug (i.e. low solubility and permeability) on the WHO-list of essential drugs for children.
