  • Abstract:

Acute arsenic poisoning complicated by circulatory collapse is associated with high mortality rates, particularly when massive ingestion.

Arsenic in blood and urine were measured by inductively coupled plasma/mass spectrometry.

A 37-year-old Taiwanese woman was admitted 1.5 hours after ingesting 37.5 g of arsenic trioxide for attempted suicide.
