    Chemokine receptors are critical regulators of cell migration in the context of immune surveillance, inflammation and development. The G protein-coupled chemokine receptors, CXCR4 and CCR5, act as co-receptors of Human Immunodeficiency Virus-1 (HIV-1) infection.
