  • Abstract:

    I Background: The bioavailability of poorly water-soluble drugs from the intestine can be improved by formulation in lipid-based delivery systems. Such formulations are known to be subject to digestion in the intestine. The association structures that are formed in the gut lumen are thought to have a significant influence on drug solubilisation..
