    Ⅰ. Background information:
    Onion (bulb of Allium cepa L.) contains abundant quercetin glycosides. After intake of dry onion powders (DOP), quercetin sulfates/glusuronides were the major molecules in the bloodstream. Methotrexate (MTX), an immunosuppressant with narrow therapeutic window, is a substrate of breast cancer resistance proteins (BCRP)..
