  • Abstract:

    BACK GROUND: Ramipril is ACE inhibitor mainly used in the treatment of Hypertension. It is having short half life 2-4 h and bioavailability 28%.
    AIM : The present study was an attempt to develop Microballoons of Ramipril to prolong gastric residence time in stomach and to control drug release in therapeutic range for longer period of time.
