    Systems therapeutics constitutes a novel therapeutic approach to the treatment of chronic progressive disorders. Systems therapeutics is characterized by: * individualized treatment modalities, * disease modifying rather than symptomatic drug effects, * preventive and pre-emptive treatments and * multi-target drugs or rational drug combinations.
