  • Abstract:

    Buspirone hydrochloride is an orally administered anxiolytic drug. The usual oral dosage of buspirone in clinical treatment is 5-20 mg, 3 times /day. The half-life is about 2 -3 h and the absolute bioavailability is low at approximately 4%. Hence a transdermal system would provide an alternative way to bypass disadvantages of the oral route. In..
