  • Abstract:

    Taurine is one of the most abundant sulpho-amino acids in the body. Hypertaurinemia has already been reported following different stress states. A previous study has demonstrated a significant increase in the serum taurine concentration in the heroin addicts. Therefore, we hypothesized that taurine could be suggested as a biomarker of recovery..
