    Objectives

    Cigarette smoking is suggested to be a leading risk factor for diseases such as lung cancer and cerebral infarction. We investigated the relationship between smoking status (Brinkman index) and clinical laboratory data, and found that cigarette smoking significantly altered several clinical laboratory data.
