  • Abstract:

    Benzodiazepines are used for anxiolytics, anticonvulsants, and muscle relaxants as well as sleep inducers. Zopiclone and zolpidem are not benzodiazepines but they act as BZ1 agonists. As these drugs are widely prescribed medications encountered in usual practice, it is necessary to develop reliable methods for their screening and quantitation..
