    Backgrounds

    Enoxaparin (EXP) is conventionally administered by injection as this anticoagulant exhibits limited permeation across biological membranes.

    Aims

    This research explores hydrophobic ion pairing as a novel strategy for augmenting bioavailability of EXP after oral absorption.
