    Backgrounds

    Myocardial infarction (MI) is one of the most prevalent cause of death worldwide. Aspirin has established efficacy for preventing cardiovascular events and is prescribed almost universally to patients with MI.  Endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) can migrate to the injury/ischemia site and play an important role in vascular maintenance..
