    Backgrounds

    Vitamin K (VK) is a fat-soluble vitamin involved in the regulation of blood coagulation. Mammals do not synthesize VK and must therefore obtain this vitamin by intestinal absorption. However, the molecular mechanism(s) of VK absorption process were not clear.
