  Stability indicated HPLC method for determination of benzyl alcohol as a preservative in terbinafine HCl topical (cream) formulation is developed and validated. The method is based on the method for determination of terbinafine impurities in terbinafine hydrochloride substance published in Pharmaeuropa Vol.16, No.1, January 2004.
