- Abstract:
Care for terminal patients in hospitals is a field that touches many aspects of pharmaceutical care. In acute care multidisciplary decisions at the end of life in an (N)ICU usually focus on abstinence of either ventillation or medication. In e.g. the oncology unit the decisions could be about abstinence, optimising palliative therapy or eutanasia.
