Background
The incidence of ARDS has been rising & ~200,000 patients annually reported with ~40% mortality, not improving the past decades. While the pathogenesis of ARDS remains unclear neutrophils accumulation lead to ROS & proinflammatory cytokines release; the rationale therapeutic approach has been to reverse the effect of these mediators
