I. Background: Meclizine HCl is a poorly water-soluble drug having a very slow-onset of action.

II. Aims: To use a white colored local clay to increase the dissolving rate of Meclizine tablets
III. Methods: Kurdistan-Gankawa natural clay chemical composition was found using X-Ray fluorescence for the clay powder.
