Recent advances in the availability and functionality of lipidic excipients and an improved understanding of the utility of these systems has led to more frequent consideration of the use of lipid based delivery systems for both the re-formulation of currently available poorly absorbed drugs, and the prospective design of lipid-based formulations.. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
