    Counterfeit medicines make up more than 10% of global medicines and up to 25% of the medicines consumed in poor countries are counterfeit or substandard. The effect of these on the health of consumers is enormous. There are numerous reports of counterfeit medicines in developing countries but the dissemination of such reports to health
