Since the arrival of Portugueses in Brazil until the XIX century, the education of apothecaries was empiric and occurred by means of oral transmission of the praxis in the pharmacy. This scenario began to change in 1808, due to the transference of the Portuguese Royal Family to Brazil; in this age, it was instituted studies of the pharmaceutics.. The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
