    Background

    The Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) National Training Programme (NTP)1structure, designed to demonstrate positive impact on pharmacist practice, was used as a model to train pharmacists in tackling antimicrobial resistance (AMR) through antimicrobial stewardship interventions, quality improvement and behaviour change techniques.
