The present study concerns the development of the floating drug delivery system which can prolong the gastric residence time and increase the bioavailability of the active drug. The core tablets containing a model drug, hydrochlorothiazide were prepared by wet granulation method. Various levels of ammonium carbonate (AMC) (i.e. 0-50% w/w) were..
