Background and purpose: Curcumin shows low plasma concentration after oral administration due to poor solubility, rapid metabolism, and rapid systemic elimination. We developed curcumin nanoemulsion to solve that problem. Methods: Nanoemulsion was composed of Glyceryn monooleate as an oil, cremophor RH40 as a surfactant, and polyethylene glycol..
