All wounds affect the integrity of the skin resulting, in most cases, in skin scarring which can be aesthetically unpleasant, distressing and functionally disabling. A new pharmaceutical compounding anhydrous silicone base containing Pracaxi oil was developed to be applied topically in scar therapy treatment, alone or as a base for incorporation.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
