Background : One of the classes of medicines which causes higher numbers of Drug-Drug Interactions (DDIs) and adverse drug outcomes are Antiretroviral (ARV) drugs. The potential for ARV in interacting with each other as well as with other classes of medicines used for common co-morbidities in HIV/AIDS patients are challenging.
