[Background] The intestinal absorption of riboflavin should be mediated by the active transport process. Riboflavin transporter RFVT3 (SLC52A3), which was highly expressed in the small intestine, was recently identified. It was also reported that the Brown-Vialetto-Van Laere syndrome patients with the dysfunctional SLC52A3 mutations exhibited the..
