Metoprolol is a racemic drug exhibiting presystemic metabolism and pharmacodynamic differences between the two stereoisomers. Anvisa, Brazilian regulatory agency for drug products, does not require enantioselective bioanalytical methods in bioequivalence assays of generic medicines containing metoprolol or other racemic drugs. Therefore,.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
