Background: Comprehensive Pharmaceutical Care® (CPC®) was introduced to New Zealand in 1996 based on the Hepler-Strand model of pharmaceutical care. Although there were similar programmes overseas, evidence of effectiveness in community pharmacy, particularly from randomised controlled trials, was sparse. As drug related morbidity and mortality..
