    I. Background

    For therapeutic angiogenesis small stable compounds having angiogenic activity are desired although scarcely found.

    II. Aims

    We evaluated the angiogenic potency of a newly synthesized water soluble and heat stable 284kD adenosine analogue, COA-Cl, and considered its applicability to medicinal drug.
