Background
Evaluate the implementation of a novel program found in a recent VA randomized-controlled trial to significantly improve VA patients' diabetes-specific social support, insulin starts, and glycemic control compared to usual nurse care management. The program uses group sessions in conjunction with an interactive voice response (IVR) The access to the whole abstract and if available the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
