Background:
Five new and selective methods were used for determination of linezolid, a synthetic oxazolidinone antibacterial agent, in presence of its alkaline degradate. The first three methods are derivative spectrophotometric methods. The fourth method is differential derivative spectrophotometry. The fifth method is an HPLC method
