Pharmacists are recognised as critical to the achievement of health-related millennium development goals and feature prominently in all WHO health statistics. There is, however, a severe quantitative and qualitative shortfall of all levels of pharmacy personnel from technicians to PhD-qualified academic pharmacists and the existing and future..
