  • Abstract:

    During most of the second half of the XIX century, the main line of investigation in mexican pharmacy was oriented towards medicinal plants; the five editions of the Mexican Pharmacopoeia printed between 1846 and 1905 bear witness to this. The Instituto Medico Nacional (IMN), created in Mexico City in 1888 was the most important research center
