    In almost every country in the world, the profession of pharmacy has a Code of Ethics to abide by. The role of a code of ethics is multidimensional. It may be used in disciplinary hearings, as a benchmark in judging professional misconduct. It may also be referred to as a set of guidelines for ethical decision making in practice.
