    India has over 700,000 registered pharmacists practicing at both community and hospital pharmacies. Pharmacists are not considered as part of government's health and pharmaceutical policies.
    Pharmacy education has been industry and product oriented. GPP guidelines adopted by India and the Vision 2020 emphasize highest professional and ethical
