    Background:

    Pharmaceutical care (PC) is not reimbursed in Poland. Polish law enables reimbursement of new service only if it is cost effective.


    Aim:

    To compare costs and effectiveness of PC and standard medical care (SMC) for hypertensive (HT) and/or diabetic (DM) patients.
