[OBJECTIVES] Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) is a severe lung injury with hypoxemia. We are trying to elucidate the mechanism of ARDS and to find candidate drugs against the disease, by using an animal model, oleic acid (OA)-induced lung injury. Although precise mechanism of ARDS is not clear, thromboxane A2 (TXA2) is suggested to play.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
