Particulate drug delivery systems which are naturally taken up and concentrated within the macrophages might be used to deliver and target the drugs to the macrophages. The aim of present work was to develop transfersomal formulation with respect to dermal delivery of paromomycin sulphate for possible therapy of cutaneous leishmaniasis.
