Pharmacogenomics, the study of how genetic factors influence individual responses to medications, is rooted in the early observations in the 1950's of inherited differences in drug response. It has not been until recently though that the field has progressed to the point where pharmacogenomics can be integrated into everyday medical decisions... The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
