Latex polymer film coatings have been extensively used to produce sustained release properties in pharmaceutical tablets. This study will examine the use of near infrared (NIR) spectroscopy for monitoring tablet coating thickness, the extent of film coat curing and curing end time and the prediction of drug release rate for orbifloxacin tablets.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
