Background: Pictograms are symbols which illustrate information. Medicine related pictograms have been developed, e.g., by the United States Pharmacopeia (www.usp.org). The comprehensibility and the usefulness of the pictograms have been assessed with adults, elderly persons and persons who have low literacy skills â€' rarely with children... The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
