    Background: Antimicrobial resistance is a very serious public health problem, such that there are high resistance levels to most original 1st line drugs used to treat common infections. The WHO global strategy for containment of antimicrobial resistance (2001) recommends 67 interventions to contain resistance through reducing inappropriate use
