  Nanotechnology is a rapidly expanding field and its applications in the pharmaceutical industry are becoming more apparent as advancements continue to develop. Much of the current pharmaceutical research is focused on developing nanoparticle technologies that enhance drug delivery by increasing efficacy or improving safety and patient compliance.
