Drug discovery and development has historically been largely empirical, but is now rapidly changing towards more mechanistic and predictive approaches. This is certainly so for pharmacokinetics where in vitro and in silico technologies are becoming available. However, the individual pieces of diverse data need to be integrated which is best done.. The access to the whole abstract and the presentation file is available to FIP members and to congress participants of that specific congress.
